ENTRANCE
Hello
Welcome to the All-Around Table Tennis book!
I, Bayram Taci Menteş. I was introduced to table tennis when I was only ten years old when my physical education teacher said, “Come to table tennis too.” When I practiced this sport for the first time, I enjoyed it so much that playing table tennis became an indispensable habit for me during my middle and high school years.
I earned my first degree in 2007 in the junior category. During my university years, I had individual inter-university degrees in Turkey. The Turkish Super League and the Turkish Cup Championship were also among my ranks. In 2016, I was a coach in the Korean and Japanese open tournaments as a coach in the national team squad. Our second place in Turkey in the Turkish Teachers’ Cup competitions held for the first time in 2019 was a gain that I will remember for a lifetime with its beautiful friendships and memories. I also undertook the duties of the provincial representative of the Turkish Table Tennis Federation and a member of the organizing committee.
After graduating from Çukurova University Table Tennis Coaching Department, I completed my master’s degree at Mersin University in order to continue my development without slowing down. Currently, I am a table tennis athlete working as a physical education teacher at the Ministry of National Education and continuing my active sports life in Turkish table tennis leagues and I am also the Provincial Representative of TMTF Adana.
The long years I have spent in the sport of table tennis, which has been physically and spiritually ingrained in my self since childhood, have naturally brought about an accumulation in this regard. As a result of this accumulation, our book is aimed at players at all levels who actively practice table tennis; I would like it to be a useful resource for those who have not yet met this sport but want to be curious and learn. The idea of preparing the book emerged entirely in the light of this request.
I have always practiced table tennis gratuitously, risking all kinds of sacrifices and loving it. I have prepared this book that you are holding in your hands with the same feelings and love. My wish is to contribute to the table tennis of our country.

The idea of preparing the book came about entirely in line with this wish.
I practiced table tennis without any consideration, risking all kinds of sacrifices. I have prepared this book you are holding in your hand with the same feelings. My greatest wish is to contribute to the sport of table tennis in our country.”
Table tennis, which has more player potential than you imagine, is a qualified activity played professionally or for entertainment purposes. With this book, Taci Menteş discusses table tennis, which has a wide audience, in every known and unknown aspect, starting from the history of the field. This book, which has been prepared with the belief of being able to eliminate a deficiency in this field in our country, is a bedside book that will be read with interest by table tennis players at all stages, from beginners to professional players, and contains all the information about table tennis.
At the end of a long and arduous process, MENTEŞ wrote the book, prepared it and used the first service. Now it’s your turn to serve! The set ends at 11 a.m.
